In 2020, Laiye has raised $42M in Series C funding co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lightspeed China Partners. Cathay Innovation who led the Series B+ round and Wu Capital who led the Series B round also participated in this round.

In 2019, merged with Awesome Technology, UiBot, Laiye has entered into the RPA+AI market and launched RPA products.

In 2017, Laiye launched the chatbot platform, Wulai, which helps enterprises build, train and deploy chatbots.

In 2015, Laiye launched the personal companion chatbot, Xiaolai and served 15 million users via Wechat.
