The Year of AI Agents: Growing Together

Article

Dear customers, partners, and Laiyeans:

In the blink of an eye, the Year of the Dragon is about to pass. Looking back on this year, I once again feel the power of vision and persistence. Laiye's founding idea of "AI Agents For Everyone" guides us to continuously upgrade our products and solutions, focus on high-certainty opportunities, and survive in adversity. These have allowed us to stand at this point in time to seek development with a longer-term perspective.

In the past few months, the artificial intelligence industry has pressed the fast forward button again. The o-series models launched by OpenAI have surpassed the level of human PhDs in many reasoning tests. The recently zizzling DeepSeek open-source reinforcement learning model has shown the costs of building such state-of-the-art models can be dramatically lowered. When foundation models have stronger reasoning and planning capabilities, AI Agents that can autonomously execute tasks will truly be possible. Therefore, 2025 will be the year of AI Agents, and such innovations will accelerate landing in different industries and scenarios. This is an opportunity for everyone's growth and development, and of course, it also puts forward higher requirements for everyone.

Nowadays, intelligent automation is quickly transforming from the physical combination of RPA and AI to this new wave of AI Agents with foundation models as the driving and bonding force. The siloed automation and artificial intelligence capabilities will be unified into an integrated platform, and simple task automation is finally evolving towards the intelligent execution of truly end-to-end business processes. More high-value and complex work will be completed independently by AI Agents or under human management and control.

In an environment where external challenges are becoming increasingly severe, the emergence of AI Agents has shown us the possibility of further reducing costs and increasing efficiency, coping with compliance pressure, and reinstating growth. One of our Chinese manufacturing customers, while facing the pressure of rising tariffs caused by geopolitics for its international business, still have confidence in overall performance growth after adopting intelligent automation technologies and digital workforce. Our South East Asia partners are also actively migrating and upgrading their customers' last generation automation platforms with our LLM-powered product portfolio to resist potential business volatility risks and maintain continuous margin improvement.

In Chinese culture, this upcoming new year marks the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, spirituality, and transformation. I believe that the increasingly intelligent foundation models will make it easier to create AI Agent solutions and unlock greater values. Laiye and I also look forward to transforming and growing together with all customers and partners in the new year. May good fortune spin in the Year of the Snake and happy Spring Festival!
