Laiye Acquires Mindsay to Lead the Market Shift to Intelligent Automation

News

Laiye, a global leader in Intelligent Automation, has announced its acquisition of Mindsay, a top European enterprise chatbot and voicebot platform. This strategic move accelerates Laiye’s mission to become the world’s leading provider of next-generation Intelligent Automation solutions.

A Shared Vision for Digital Transformation

"Laiye and Mindsay share the same goal: empowering businesses to achieve greater efficiency, productivity, and success through digital transformation," said Guanchun Wang, Chairman and CEO of Laiye. "This acquisition follows our recent $50 million investment in the EMEA region and represents a major step forward in delivering the most comprehensive, accessible, and affordable Intelligent Automation solutions for businesses worldwide."

The Rapidly Growing Intelligent Automation Market

The Intelligent Automation market is expanding rapidly, with Gartner predicting that process-agnostic technologies—including RPA, AI, IDP, chatbots, and process mining—will drive the sector to nearly $46 billion by 2025. This growth is fueled by organizations fast-tracking digital initiatives in response to the pandemic. According to Gartner, the shift toward a digital workforce is forcing businesses to accelerate their transformation plans by at least five years to remain competitive in a post-pandemic world.

 Enhancing Automation with Conversational AI

"The integration of Mindsay’s low-code/no-code chatbot technology allows our clients to automate customer service and back-office operations seamlessly," said Ronen Lamdan, CEO International of Laiye. "When combined with our robotic process automation (RPA) and AI-powered conversational interfaces, we offer a cutting-edge platform to digitize and automate critical business processes."

A Strategic Partnership for Global Impact

Guillaume Laporte, CEO and Co-Founder of Mindsay, added, "Businesses increasingly recognize the value of AI-driven chatbots in delivering superior self-service experiences, and Mindsay has been at the forefront of this evolution. Joining Laiye at this pivotal moment is incredibly exciting. We’re deeply impressed by Laiye’s exceptional team and technology, and together, we’ll deliver even greater value to customers worldwide."

Following the acquisition, Laporte will lead Laiye’s international chatbot business as General Manager, while Mindsay co-founders Ilias Hicham and Pierre Pakey will assume roles as Head of Product and Head of Product Innovation for Intelligent Document Processing, respectively.

Additionally, Laiye plans to establish a new R&D hub in Paris to further drive innovation.

Support from Key Investors

Matthieu Lattes, General Partner at WhiteStar Capital, commented, "We have been honored to have supported Mindsay’s growth and are thrilled to collaborate with Laiye in building a global industry leader. The combined strengths of both companies will drive innovation and expansion across key markets."

James Mi, Founding Partner of Lightspeed China Ventures, added, "As an early investor in Laiye, we’ve seen the company evolve from a China-based chatbot leader into a global automation and AI powerhouse. The acquisition of Mindsay will further solidify Laiye’s position as the worldwide leader in Intelligent Automation."
