Laiye APA Community Edition V1.5 Release: Web Automation Gets Smarter and More Resilient

Laiye has released APA Community Edition V1.5. This update focuses on improving the stability and maintainability of web automation in real-world business scenarios.
What's new
1. Enhanced Web Automation
During web exploration, APA can automatically validate UI elements and add them to the element library, reducing hardcoded selectors and improving maintainability.
The element library also introduces two new capabilities:
- Wildcard elements: Match multiple targets with a single element definition. Particularly useful for list items and dynamic pages.
- Relative elements: Anchor one element to another by positional relationship. Use this when the target element has unstable selectors but sits near a more stable reference point.
Additional enhancements:
- iframe support: Web automation now covers iframe scenarios, including login pages for commonly used services.
- Visual feedback: Target elements are now highlighted in real time during exploration, validation, and element library operations.
2. Popup Self-Healing
Building on the last version's element selector self-healing, APA V1.5 adds self-healing for unexpected popups. When an unhandled popup appears during process execution, the AI analyzes it and APA closes it automatically so the process can continue.
After execution completes, users can review a popup self-healing report showing the reason for each healing action, a screenshot of the page at the time, and AI-recommended fixes. Accept any suggestion with one click and the AI will immediately update your workflow.
3. Feature Optimization
- Added quick actions to validate and highlight UI elements in the element library, source code, and visual view
- Improved the debugging window with expandable complex variables, variable value copy, and a new command window that can reference current variables
- Added user ID copy support from the user information panel to make issue reporting and support easier
4. Bug Fixes
- Fixed potential command usage issues in digital employee platform process migration
- Fixed poor zoom ratio after AI process sync auto-layout
- Fixed incorrect behavior of the Try N Catch command
- Fixed issues where saving a process could leave the opened flow block inconsistent with the actual active flow block or show an external modification prompt
