Laiye recognized in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Robotic Process Automation for the fourth consecutive year
Laiye, a pioneer in the Work Execution System category, announces its recognition for the fourth consecutive year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). We believe this recognition underscores Laiye's unparalleled leadership in Asia and a significant enhancement of its global influence.
This year, the number of vendors included worldwide has decreased from 16 of last year to 13, which we think signifies intense competition and an accelerated consolidation in the hyperautomation industry.
In the Standard Capabilities, Gartner states that:"Native optical character recognition (OCR) and/or integration with a third-party OCR tool to capture semistructured or unrtructured data. Intelligent document processing (IDP) features such as image capture, classifications and model training." We believe it highlights that AI-native functionality has become a critical component. Gartner also assumes that: "by 2025, 90% of RPA vendors will offer generative-AI-assisted automation."
Laiye has been strategically positioned in the market and offers innovative and cost effective solutions to customers under budget pressure, especially in emerging markets, including China, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
Guanchun Wang, Chairman and CEO of Laiye said, "We are thrilled to be recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for RPA for the fourth consecutive year. To us, this recognition is not only a testament to our relentless innovation but also an inspiration for us to create more values for the customers and make the digital workforce ecosystem more vibrant. As digital workers evolve from RPA to AI Agent, they will harness the comprehension, generation, and reasoning capabilities empowered by Generative AI to automate an ever-wider range of complex and high-value processes end-to-end. Laiye eagerly anticipates with everyone to usher in the era where our vision of 'Building AI Agents for Everyone' come true".
Laiye believes that the adoption of digital workforce solutions can be categorized into three stages: The first stage involves RPA, capable of replacing humans in high-frequency, repetitive tasks such as data entry, applicable to departments like finance and human resources. The second stage introduces Co-pilot, which assist humans in tasks requiring a degree of creativity, like content creation and code generation. This stage facilitates the transition from chat to work and is suitable for departments such as marketing and research and development. The third stage features AI Agent, capable of independently performing various tasks based on specific goals, including task decomposition and execution.
Laiye is the only global technology vendor recognized as a Major Contender in three subcategories of intelligent automation by Everest Group's Peak Matrix® Reports, namely RPA, IDP and Conversational AI.
